95 Bars

95 Lines asks: how do we live in this digital world. How can we bring our soft, meaty human bodies into harmony with the sharp corners and rigid lines of modernity. The struggle really results in a lot of dissonance and clashing. And often it really can feel like we are just a soup of human fragments.

But with enough creativity, we can build those fragments a context where they make sense. And so this piece introduces fragments until the last movements where these scraps come together to create a whole. One last, joyful movement, forged in the struggle.

Choreographed by Brian McSween at Chattanooga Ballet.
